”Dear all!
Unfortunately we have some serious bad news about the up-coming November to Dismember Metal Fest that was supposed to happen in 10 weeks from now on. Considering the very low pre-sales we have until now (less than 20 two-days tickets actually) and the fact that the Romanian market is simply flooded with events at the moment and moreover that there are two other festivals happening in Romania the same weekend, and another two major big venues shows happening in Bucharest the very same Saturday, we have decided we’ll put an end to this year edition of the festival and also we’ll send the whole festival to ice, most probably forever!
As most of you probably know already, NDMF was always an independent event, we never had any sponsors, business partners or used any tricks in making this work. For three years in a row, me and Dan, the people behind Axa Valaha Prods and Ribcage Booking, spent our own finances to make this happen and hoped it’s gonna end up being sustainable in the future. Not anymore!
Believe me, it was not an easy decision to take, we don’t blame anybody for this, but in the end I’d rather prefer to have this canceled in proper time instead of not being able to pay the bands and the other expenses in full and to have a shitty situation at place. I’m sorry for that, I am sure that I’ve messed up with the plans of some of the bands and people, but I think we took the right decision with a fair amount of time ahead, to make it easier for everybody.
Those very few who bought tickets already, get your cash back from the same distributors where you bought them from! A big thank you to all the people from the local and international press who helped us promoting this. Thank you, horns up to you all!
Thank you for your understanding, all the best!
